Plug in and play, it’s that simple

If you drive an earlier Audi without an embedded SIM, and can't access the benefits of the myAudi app, plug and play is for you. The data plug turns your Audi into a connected car alongside the Connect plug and play app. The data plug is available to purchase from your local Audi Centre.

Please note - The Audi data plug and the Connect plug and play App will continue to be operational until 31/12/2026, they will then be withdrawn from service.

How to connect with plug & play

Step 1

Head to your local Audi Centre to get your data plug. Simply plug it into the OBD port in the driver’s side footwell to get started. Your Audi Centre can show you how.

Locate a Dealer

Step 2

Next, download the Audi Connect plug and play app and create your Audi ID. Here you’ll be able to select your preferred Audi Centre.

Step 3

Simply follow the instructions on the app to pair the data plug, and you’ll have all the key information about your Audi at your fingertips.
