• Ask Africa Orange Index is the leading customer service benchmark and measurement in South Africa

Johannesburg, 11 October 2021 – Audi has been announced as the overall winner in the automotive category of the 2021 Ask Afrika Orange Index Awards. The Ask Afrika Orange Index Awards, first launched in 2001, celebrated 20 years of measuring and recognising excellent consumer satisfaction across 31 industries and is the broadest, independent, and most widely referenced service excellence benchmark in South Africa.
The Index measured and tracked 200 brands in South Africa to obtain overall customer satisfaction for the current period. For the 2021 Awards, 19 986 South Africans were interviewed to establish which companies provide the best customer experience in South Africa.

“Audi is proud of the recognition towards benchmark customer service in the automotive industry,” said Hassan Salie, Head of Audi Aftersales and Dealer Network Development at Audi South Africa.

“The award not only means a lot to our brand but also to our Dealer Network, who play a significant role in ensuring their best efforts when interacting and servicing our premium customer base. We are glad that our customer service efforts have been acknowledged despite the challenges over the past year. This is a win worth celebrating, ” added Salie.

Andrea Rademeyer, CEO and Founder of Ask Afrika concluded: “After measuring customer experience for the last 20 years through the Ask Afrika Orange Index, what has become very apparent is that customer experience continues to differentiate businesses.”
