• The Audi Freeway Plan Extension remains the premium industry benchmark for extended service and maintenance plans
May 2024, Johannesburg — All new Audi vehicles are sold with the Audi Freeway Plan (AFP), a comprehensive five-year/100,000km service and maintenance programme designed to afford customers hassle-free motoring and increased value for money during the duration of the contract. Now, Audi owners have the option to extend the AFP to a maximum of 15 years and/or 300,000km (previously 10 years/300,000km), again setting a benchmark in the premium automotive space. This offers those customers who intend to keep their vehicles for a longer period peace of mind as they know their vehicle’s scheduled service and maintenance needs will be taken care of for the duration of the term.
Within the AFP Extension programme, Audi customers can tailor their extensions to their specific needs. The various plans can be calculated on time or mileage, with both service as well as full maintenance options. What’s more, AFP can be extended, with no waiting period, at any time before the existing AFP expires. Should a customer wish to purchase an AFP Extension when buying a new vehicle, the additional cost can be included in the financing structure through Audi Financial Services.
The AFP Extension covers services, wear-and-tear items and certain repairs after a specialised Audi Dealer assessment. It also warrants against potential defective workmanship, replacement and repair of defective parts on condition that the AFP policy and terms and conditions have not been invalidated. In addition, the AFP includes Audi Assist, which is Audi’s roadside assistance programme that provides emergency support.
