As part of the Volkswagen SA Group, Audi South Africa has been a player on the South African market since the late 1960s. Given brand independence in the early 1990s, the Audi Brand has grown in leaps and bounds in a very short time.
Today, Audi South Africa supports a countrywide dealer network and imports a wide range of Audi models catering for just about every taste and desire.

Audi Product Marketing
Product Marketing is responsible for introducing to the South African Market new Audi model ranges or innovations and updates to existing models. A key performance indicator for product planning is to ensure optimum market positioning and consequent volume, market share and financial contribution to the company. Audi press PR also falls under the Product Marketing department and sees to the needs of the media regarding Audi product and industry news. Rudi Venter is head of Product Marketing.
Audi Marketing Communications
Audi Marketing Communications is responsible for determining and executing brand campaigns and promotional events to further strengthen the image of the Audi brand. Esther Francis is head of Marketing Communications for Audi South Africa.
Audi Special Markets
Special Markets is responsible for planning and negotiating the sale of the Audi product range of vehicles to Rental, Corporate, Government and Africa Exports. Analysing purchasing behaviour, identifying sales opportunities and building meaningful relationships with key Rental, Corporate and Government decision-makers to ensure increased fleet volume and market share of the Audi brand. Kirtanya van Tonder is head of Audi Special Markets.
Audi National Sales
Audi National Sales is responsible for analysing sales performance across the customer channels and through Sales Forecasts - setting dealer targets, liaising with the dealer network and allocating the monthly supplies of dealer stock. In addition, Audi National Sales is accountable for dealer performance and measures this through Sales to Target and Customer Satisfaction reports. Asif Hoosen is head of Audi National Sales.
Audi National After Sales
Audi After Sales Service is committed to becoming the benchmark After Sales Service organisation across all manufacturers in South Africa. In order to achieve this, the focus is on the three most important areas of the business: Service Customer Satisfaction, Service Quality and reduction of repeat repairs and Dealer After Sales Growth and Profitability. Through continuous support and adding value to the Dealer network; Dealers are assisted in achieving or exceeding the agreed After Sales objectives. Chris Khumalo is head of Audi National After Sales.
Audi Dealer Development
Audi Dealer Development is responsible for developing and managing policies and strategies that will result in the strongest possible dealer network for the Audi brand. This is achieved through dealer standards, business management and training & developing the dealer networks non-technical staff. Hassan Salie is head of Audi Dealer Development.
