Technology in action

Under its hood lies a two-litre TFSI® high-performance engine delivering a mighty 195 kW. This intense power propels the Coupé to 100 km/h from a standstill in just 5.2 seconds and on to a governor-limited top speed of 250 km/h. The TTS is equipped with yet another high-tech feature: the Audi Magnetic Ride Adaptive Damping System that allows the driver to choose between a well-balanced, comfortable ride and uncompromisingly dynamic handling.

The standard 18-inch alloy wheels are a highlight of the exterior design, as are the headlights with their curved trim element known as “wing”. The dipped-beam modules have been moved towards the outside, and daytime running lights with seven long-life LEDs also form part of the standard specification.

Goosebumps from every detail

In the cockpit, passengers are welcomed by deep-set sports seats trimmed in a mixture of leather and Alcantara. A mere glance at the instruments makes it perfectly clear that the Audi TTS is all about performance. A grey dial and white needles and a high-resolution driver information system with white displays signal overt sportiness.

The TTS Roadster comes with an electro hydraulic drive for the soft top, a power wind deflector, plus, for added practicality, a load-through facility. The rear seats in the Coupé have a split-folding design, allowing luggage capacity to be increased from 290 to 700 litres. Both the Coupé and the Roadster are available in TTS quattro® manual and TTS quattro® S tronic models.

The unveiling of the TTS also marks something of an anniversary for Audi: It was 10 years ago that the TT Coupe first took to the road, swiftly acquiring the status of design icon. The TT has stayed firmly in the fast lane ever since, and now the TTS proudly takes its place as the dynamic flagship of this iconic model line.
